Assoc. Prof. Coskun Eruz’s statement to the newspapers that “throwing masks used to protect against coronavirus, which affects the WORLD, into the environment randomly creates pollution. Experts point out that the masks, which they point out to be the most threatening pollutant after plastic waste, will harm living life, and warn everyone to put them in double bags and throw them into medical waste bins.”
